Our courses and toolkits are developed in partnership with the Economics Fundamentals Initiative (EFI) and, in the case of Olympiad prep, the International Economics Olympiad (IEO) Committee. This ensures quality, relevance, and global alignment.

Our Story

EduSpace emerged from an understanding that many educators and learners lack easy access to structured, modern learning tools. Drawing on LAI’s offline training programs, and with generous support from OSF Western Balkans, we launched a digital platform to bring those experiences online—making them available and updatable for anyone, anywhere.

What began as a digital companion for teachers has evolved into a standalone platform featuring materials in English, Macedonian, and Albanian, opening doors for both teachers and students to learn, explore, and grow together.

At EduSpace, we believe in learning that empowers, teaching that inspires, and knowledge that’s accessible to all. Developed by the Liberal Alternative Institute, EduSpace supports teachers, students, and schools across North Macedonia with free, high-quality, multilingual educational resources—starting with economics and expanding into new fields.

All EduSpace materials are hosted through a combination of our own platform and Moodle, where teachers can register to access full courses and modules.

Our platform is continuously updated in collaboration with educators, mentors, and curriculum experts to reflect the latest pedagogical practices and classroom realities.

Today, EduSpace features three main learning areas:

1. Economics Pedagogy

Modern training for economics teachers — featuring workshop content, webinars, and mentorship support (accessed via Moodle)

2. Didactic Materials

A toolkit for teachers of economics and related subjects — including lesson plans, Common Sense Economics resources, presentations, exercises, and a feedback loop (hosted on Moodle)

3. Econ Olympiad Prep

Free self-guided materials for students participating in the Olympiad — with guides, quizzes, videos, and past tests (available directly on EduSpace)
